Still Busy

Like everyone, we were busy and continue to busy for the past month. You would think that if Aaron were home on Saturday's, maybe we'd be a little less busy. But then again, Basketball started and Aaron goes out with a child every weekend. Aaron being home just means being busy with other stuff.
Christmas was nice. I finally finished a quilt for AJ and gave it to him. I started that quilt about 6-8 years ago. I found that I've learned a lot in Relief Society and now I could finish the quilt. Because of my poor positions in tying the quilt and finishing Christmas "stuff", by back started to go out on Christmas Eve. It was really bad on Christmas and the day after. Tanner had a talk in primary so I had to go to church. The counselor in primary is married to a Chiropractor so she had me come over. He looked at my back and wouldn't do much until I got x-rays. At least when I left I was standing a little straighter. Anyway, my x-rays show all kinds of things. I have an extra vertebrae, my vertebrae has attached to my pelvic bone on one side, and some signs of osteoarthritis. When I heard all this I thought, "Do I really like being 40?" Some of these problems I had when I was born so my age doesn't really have to do with it. Now that I know what my "problems" are, I've been learning to manage it. As of this past week I finally started to feel "normal" again. I can stand up straight, move, and do my usual. I made bread on Wednesday and couldn't move again on Thursday but other than that, I'm figuring out how to manage it.
Onto another subject now. I like not coaching Mattina Ann in basketball this year. I "coach" her and not the whole team. I can concentrate on watching her. Her team only has 4-5 players every game. That makes it hard against teams with 10-12 team players. They haven't won any games. I just keep telling her that at least she's learning more skills and to keep improving. She's having fun and that's what's important. AJ has also been playing basketball. His team is doing well. Sometimes his coach has even named AJ the team "MVP". He's doing really well. He catches onto what he's suppose to be doing and does it. He still has a lot to learn but is enjoying the sport.
Tanner lost his first tooth on December 26th. I'm planning to put the pictures on when I get a chance. He decided he was sick of it bugging him so he asked Aaron to take it out. Aaron did it without struggle. It made me think that even my "little boys" are growing up. Where does time go?
It has been 1.5 years approximately since Aaron's last play. Therefore, Aaron is currently auditioning for a play. It's called "1776". It mostly has a cast of men. We are looking forward to seeing what part he gets. We know one with NO kissing for sure. :)
My calling continues to keep me busier that busy. I guess that's good. I'm not getting into trouble.....yet anyway. Aaron finally got released from Family History Specialist. YEAH!!
A miracle happened about 2 weeks ago. We got paid back for the flooding of our basement. When I told Aaron he had to remind me that it wasn't April first. It only took 1.5 years to get that money. We are so happy to finally have that.
I often think, "I'm going to put this in the blog.", then I take forever to write and can't think of anything. I'm hoping to become better at writing and it won't be so long to hear from me.
