This week has been another busy week. I'm trying to get the HOA board changed. This is a nightmare. I don't want feeling hurt, I just want the board ran properly. Maybe then we'd have some money and we'd get paid back for our basement floor.
We had our presidency meeting this week. We haven't had one since the week before Christmas. It ended up a 3 hour night.
I went to my first book club ever. I even read the book. The Wednesday Letters. I really enjoyed this book.
I'm coaching Mattina Ann's basketball team. We had 2 practices this week and a game today. Last week we had 4 girls show up for the game. We played against 5 girls who were tall, organized, and have been together for the past 4 years. We held them to 2 baskets the first quarter and no baskets the next 2 quarters. After that we lost 28-0. I looked at it like at least we played defense until we were tired. This week I had 7 girls and it went okay. We lost 14-17 but it at least was a fun game. They didn't do any of the offense that we practiced this past week. Guess what we'll be practicing this week?
Mattina Ann made a basket and was rather aggressive. She was grouling at the other team and even the ref. I chilled her out real quick. She did play real aggressive though. She's come a long way. I'm glad she's having fun.
I've been teaching piano lessons for a couple of months now. I have 3 students including AJ. AJ is my best student. The other two have a hard time with practicing. It's hard to practice when you don't have a piano at home.
Aaron had a rough morning at Arby's. Last night when he got to work he found that the lock on the door was broken. He informed everyone and they said that since it's a holiday weekend they wouldn't fix it until Tuesday because of the higher cost. This morning when he got there he found that Arby's had been broken into and robbed. Lovely. The ironic thing was that Aaron has been teaching his students how to write deposition style and then he had to do just that this morning.
I hope to write about some of the fun things Tanner and Geremy say. I need to keep better records of my children and hopefully this will be just that. I'm feeling rambuncous (however you spell that) right now and might write once a week. We'll see.
